This photograph was taken at the Keystone club in Berkeley, California. John was playing with the Rocky Sullivan Band. Also in the band were Joey Covington (Jefferson Airplane), Mario Cipollina (Huey Lewis and The News), and Nicky Hopkins (Rolling Stones, Quicksilver Messenger Service).
